Bylaw issued by the Administration of Smolensk Region of 15.04.2013 No. 280 “On establishing the Council on Economy and Investment at the Administration of Smolensk Region”. Council on economy and investment of Smolensk region (hereinafter referred to as «Council») is the advisory body created for the analysis of an economic situation in Smolensk region and developments of recommendations about questions of development of economy of Smolensk region and attraction of investments.

Order issued by the Administration of Smolensk Region of 04.09.2013 No. 1404 “On adopting the members of the Council on Economy and Investment at the Administration of Smolensk Region”. Heads and officials of public authorities of Smolensk region, territorial authorities of federal executive authorities, local government municipalities of Smolensk region, large economic entities, public organizations are a part of Council. The chairman of the Council is the Governor of Smolensk region.
