On September 22-25^th Smolensk enterprises participated in the exhibition «Mir Detstva — 2015» which took place in «Expocentre», Moscow.

At the beginning of October Administration of the Smolensk region represented by Director of Department of investment development Rostislav Rovbel has been a part of committee on investment policy of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

On October 06, 2015 the main event in the sphere of information technologies - Russian Internet Forum «RIF. Region 2015» took place in Smolensk with assistance of Administration of the Smolensk region and Department of investment development of the Smolensk region.

The majority of Smolensk heat networks and heat-only boiler stations needs urgent repair. In conditions when budgetary funds are absent for these purposes, the high hope is laid on business for which «warm conditions» of investment are created.

OJSC «Igorevskiy Woodworking Combine» has set to work the first stage of plant on production of the MDF fiber boards.

Smolensk, Novosibirsk and Ryazan regions are the leaders of the country in development of the competition and condition of the competitive environment in regional economies. It has been declared by Dmitriy Medvedev at the meeting of the Government today.

The enterprises which are relating to consumer goods industry (textile, sewing, footwear, leather and fur industries) will get additional support from the government.

Elite cheese is from Smolensk region. The largest investment project in our region is a goat complex on which goat cheese, cottage cheese and milk will be made. All construction and finishing works at the enterprise are coming to the end. The official opening is planned for the first days of September.

The ceremonial opening of the second turn of the enterprise which is one of the largest in Russia in this direction took place in Gagarin. Acting Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy took part in the ceremony of launch of the new production line.

The 45^th Federal wholesale fair of goods and equipment of textile and light industry «Testillegprom» will take place on September 22-25 in Moscow.
