The next stage of construction of the state industrial parks «Phoenix» and «Safonovo» has been completed. All works are performed according to the established schedule.

The main subject of discussion platforms became improvement of conditions of business development in Smolensk region.

Within a working trip the Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy has visited the LLC Polimix enterprise which is the successor of the Smolensk auto-aggregate plant AMO ZIL of V. P. Otrokhov.

There has taken place the working meeting of the deputy governor of Smolensk region Rostislav Rovbel with the management of JSC Smolensk Plant «Kentavr» at which the parties have discussed the prospect of promotion of the innovative products which are turned out by the plant.

The regional law of 21.04 2016 No. 43 «About establishment in Smolensk region of the tax rate in the amount of 0 percent for taxpayers – the individual entrepreneurs applying a simplified taxation system, patent system of the taxation» comes into force since January 1, 2017.

On December 15, 2016 the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will carry out the Congress of the industry of children's goods which will show achievements and possibilities of branch.

The Bryansk meat company which is a part of agro-industrial holding Miratorg reports that until the end of 2016 it will have opened 5 new farms for cultivation of cattle in Smolensk and Tula regions within the interregional project.

The working meeting of the Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy with the head of the concern Rethmann Group Klemens-Nobert Rethmann has taken place on the basis of the custom and logistic terminal «Rhenus Terminal» during which the parties have discussed the prospects of further cooperation of the company and Smolensk region.

Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy has held a working meeting with the Secretary of State of the common state Grigoriy Rapota who has arrived to Smolensk region for participation in the 47th session of the board of Border committee of the Common State.

The bilateral working meeting of the Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in the Russian Federation Włodzimierz Marciniak has taken place in Administration of the region. 

The team of JSC Avangard with the following membership Evgeniy Mishutin and Konstantin Titov became the winner of the national championship of cross-industry profession of high-tech industries WorldSkills Hi-Tech passing in Yekaterinburg.

At the working meeting the results of cooperation between Republic of Belarus and Smolensk region were summarized by the Deputy Governor of the region Rostislav Rovbel and the Head of office of Embassy of Belarus in Russia in the city of Smolensk Czeslaw Shulga.
