The meeting of the working group on questions of creation of the state industrial parks in the territory of Smolensk region has taken place under the chairmanship of Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy. 

It has summed up the competition results for the best work on practical application of biocomposites in production in Smolensk.

The regular session of Council for economy and investments at Administration of Smolensk region has taken place. Its participants have considered the questions concerning situation and promotion of the competitive environment on commodity markets, works and services of the region for 2015.

The 10^th anniversary international exhibition «KIDS RUSSIA» has taken place in Moscow. It has got together more than three hundred fifty participants from twenty countries on one platform. For the first time it has been presented new toys from the series «Mi-mi-mishki» from the group of companies «Smoltoys».

ABH «Miratorg» starts the project on development of domestic agro-production technologies of varietal perennial grass in cooperation with Smolensk experimental station of A. N. Engelgardt. The new project will allow to reduce purchases abroad and to create base for further development of domestic agro-technologies.

The perspective directions of development of Ugranskiy district of the Smolensk region, its economic and investment potential were discussed by Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy and the head of the district Natalya Shishigina at the working meeting.

Implementation of the investment project on construction of a plant on deep processing of flax became the main subject of the meeting of Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy with the management of LLC «Agro-industrial Corporation «Vologodchina».

We will receive a number of serious investors, new workplaces and considerable budget revenues of the region with creation of industrial parks. It was declared by Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy at the meeting devoted to the 25^th anniversary of «The scientific and industrial union».

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved distribution of subsidies to regions for development of animal husbandry, processing and realization of its production. The state support will be got 84 territorial subjects of the federation, including Smolensk region.

We are ready to render full assistance to foreign investors and to ensure safety of their business in the territory of the Smolensk region. It was declared by Director of Department of investment development of the Smolensk region Rostislav Rovbel, presenting the region at the Hungarian-Russian agricultural forum in Budapest.

According to the Order of Minpromtorg OJSC «Vyazma machine-building plant» entered the list of the organizations having essential impact on industries and trade. Nowadays the enterprise can count on essential state support within anti-recessionary measures.

In Moscow the cooperation agreement between Administration of the Smolensk region and Fund for developing industry which is aimed at the development of industrial capacity of the region has been signed. 

The first IT school in Smolensk «Tabtabus School» invites students and graduates on the course «Web Marketing Bases». The studies will last from March to May, 2016.

The director of the department of investment development of the Smolensk region Rostislav Rovbel held a working meeting with the heads of business communities.

The Resolution «About Modification of the Provision on Department of Investment Development of the Smolensk Region» is accepted in regional Administration. 

The group of companies «FENICE» became the winner of a program «The Best — to Children» following the results of examination of production and services for children and teenagers in 2015.

In the center of youth innovative creativity (CYIC) conducted tour for participants of IT school of a cluster of information technologies of Smolensk region.

By results of the assessment of efficiency of realization of actions for the state support of subjects of small and medium-sized enterprises which are carried out by Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation Smolensk region was among 32 regions of the Russian Federation with an indicator of efficiency that equal 100%. 

Nowadays both grain and grind coffee is produced from imported raw materials in Smolensk region. 30 employees will work at start of the enterprise at full capacity.
