03.04.2014 The investment project “Construction of a shopping and leisure centre “Maxi” in SmolenskOn April 3d, 2014 the specialists of the Department of Economic Development of the Smolensk Region organised a visiting meeting with the representatives of “Maxi Development”, implementing the investment project “Construction of a shopping and leisure centre “Maxi” in Smolensk.
The project is aimed at the construction of a three-storey shopping and leisure centre with the total square of 60 000 thousand square metres. It will be fully adapted to the adjacent environment and meet visitors and staff's needs. The centre will have a spacious car park for 1100 cars and with an approved transportation scheme.
The entertainment zone will include a cinema “Cinema Park”, a family amusement park and a food court. The shopping facilities will consist of the food supermarket “Lenta”, the shopping centre for household appliances “M. Video”, the sports centre “Sportmaster”, the supermarket “Children's World” and brand shops.
At present the investor is finishing the construction of the building and engineering networks, the roofing works are planned for May, 2014, the centre will be put in operation in December 2014.
