On May 27, 2914 there was a working meeting of foreign investing companies with the representatives 19 RF Subjects. The RF regions were represented by the regional executive authorities responsible for economic and investment development. The meeting held at the Ministry of Regional Development united representatives from “ALBA Group” (Germany), “Oxylane” (France), “Kayi” (Turkey), “FRESENIUS MEDICAL CARE” (Germany), Korean-Russian Council.

During the business meeting there was a presentation of the investment potential of the Smolensk Region and a ceremony of signing an agreement of intent between the company “Oxylane” and the Department of Economic Development of the Smolensk Region. The Parties expressed their interest in the construction of a shopping centre “Dekatlon”. The volume of investment amounts to 300 mln rubles, the implementation of this project will create about 100 workplaces. The beginning of construction works is planned for 2015.
