23.04.2015 The industrial parks of Smolensk region were presented to Japanese investors

Ten regions of Russia among which Smolensk region, presented the opportunities for production localization to Japanese investors at the seminar organized by Association of industrial parks of Russia (AIP). The CEO of the Corporation of Investment Development, Andrey Kulichkov presented Smolensk region.

The representatives of 32 Japanese industrial corporations participated in a seminar; many of them consider possibilities of localization of production in Russia. The seminar became an important impulse for further distribution of information about industrial parks of our country. In particular, by the time of holding a seminar the information about all industrial parks of Russia was published in the monthly ROTOBO, which extends in a business community of Japan. Within special session, communication between participants and an exchange of contacts between members of the Russian delegation and the representatives of the Japanese companies took place.

The seminar is a part of business mission to Japan and Korea for representatives of the Russian regions, organized byAssociation of industrial parks.

It is to be recalled that work on development of industrial parks "Safonovo" and "Phoenix" is conducted in Smolensk region. On April 17, 2015 the Corporation of Investment Development of Smolensk region was admitted to the Association of industrial parks of Russia.
