23.04.2015 Corporation of Investment Development of Smolensk region took part in an investment seminar in South Korea

On April 21, 2015 Association of industrial parks of Russia (AIP) held an investment seminar in South Korean, Seoul. Its purpose was promotion of the information about industrial parks of Russia in a business community of Korea, establishment of direct contacts with potential investors.

The seminar was opened by the trade representative of Russia in the Republic of Korea, Mikhail Bondarenko, and the executive supervisor of AIP, Denis Zhuravskiy. The representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Ministry for Development of Russian Far East told about measures of support of investment projects in the industrial sphere. The members of Association acquainted participants of the seminar with opportunities of implementation of investment projects in Russia, made presentations about production localization.

Smolensk region was represented by Andrey Kulichkov, the CEO of Corporation of investment development of Smolensk region. Twenty five participants representing eighteen Korean companies participated in a seminar.

Within a seminar there was a session of questions-answers, and also the members of the Russian delegation were acquainted with the representatives of the Korean companies.

The second day of business mission was devoted to studying of experience of the Korean industrial park Cheonan Industrial zone.

It is to be recalled that work on development of industrial parks "Safonovo" and "Phoenix" is conducted in Smolensk region. On April 17, 2015 Corporation of Investment Development of Smolensk region was admitted to Association of industrial parks of Russia.
