09.04.2015 The official opening of the shopping center «Maxi» took place in Smolensk

On April 9, 2015 the official opening the shopping center «Maxi» took place in Smolensk. SEC «Maxi» became the largest operating object of «Maxi Development Сompany» and the first complex of the network «Maxi» in Central Federal District. The total amount of investments on the project is over 3,0 billion rubles. 1 500 workplaces are created as a result of realization of the investment project on construction of shopping and entertainment centre «Maxi».

«Maxi Development» is a federal developer company which develops the network project of shopping centers under the brand «Maxi» in the regions of Russia. The company conducts business in the commercial real estate market more than 10 years and nowadays it is one of the largest developers of regional trade real estate of Russia.

The construction of SEC «Maxi» was carried out on the land plot of 5,2 ha, which is located in a trading area of industrial quarter of the city of Smolensk. The company succeeded to build the object in 15 months (the terms of project realization 2013-2014 years) and to put it into operation in strict accordance with the declared terms.

The concept of SEC «Maxi» is directed on family shopping and rest. There are more than 170 shops in SEC «Maxi», and catering establishments and spheres of entertainments are also located there. For comfortable stay of all categories of citizens SEC «Maxi» is equipped with 2 panoramic elevators, 14 escalators, a cloak room, a room for mother and child, and also recreation areas. The automobile parking of SEC is calculated on 1 100 parking places, the equipment of a cycle parking is also supposed. By the time of opening for visitors the pool of lease holders of the centre is created more than for 90%.
