26.06.2015 Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation approved the demand of the region for financing of construction of two industrial parks

Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation (MEDT of Russia) supported construction of two state industrial parks in Smolensk and Safonovo. The acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy declared about it at a ceremony of honoring of school graduates of the regional center.

«A few days ago Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation supported the demand of Administration of Smolensk region», - the Head of the region noted.

On June 25^th MEDT of Russia made competitive selection on granting subsidy to budgets of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation in the direction of capital construction of objects of development infrastructure. According to the competitive selection Smolensk region is recognized as the winner on creation of two state industrial parks: «Phoenix» and «Safonovo».

30 subjects of the Russian Federation submitted an application for participation in competition for granting subsidies for infrastructure. 10 demands were refused because of discrepancy to competition conditions. From 20 approved demands 10 were concerned about further work on earlier begun projects, 10 were initial buildings, the industrial parks of the Smolensk region were in that list.

Smolensk region will receive 200 million rubles in the first year of construction. The region is on the second place from 20 regions on the sum of the allocated funds. It is planned that opening of industrial parks will allow to create about 3 thousand workplaces at the expense of residents of the park.

The term of project’s implementation on creation of industrial park «Phoenix» is 2015-2018 years: there will take place a formation of infrastructure in 2015-17, and in 2016-18 filling of park with residents will take place.

The enterprises which are engaged in metal working, woodworking, instrument engineering, production of metal plastic products, furniture, the food industry will be able to be placed in the territory of the park.

Implementation of the project of industrial park «Safonovo» will take place in two stages. The first stage will last from 2015 till 2018 years, the sum of investments will make 874 million rubles. The second stage will last from 2018 till 2021 years, the sum of investments will make 545 million rubles. The planned tax revenues in budgets will make 5,5 billion rubles of different levels from project’s implementation.

The industrial park «Safonovo» has a branch that is specialized in production of composite materials and products from them. At the moment the applications were submitted by 6 residents for placement of production in the territory of the industrial park.

It should be noted that industrial parks possess a number of competitive advantages. So, the ready engineering infrastructure, free technological connection, tax concession will be provided to residents of the industrial parks.
