The regular session of Council for economy and investments at Administration of Smolensk region has taken place. Its participants have considered the questions concerning situation and promotion of the competitive environment on commodity markets, works and services of the region for 2015.
Monitoring of situation and promotion of the competitive environment within which have held polls both businessmen, consumers of goods and services at the regional and municipal levels has been carried out for the first time in the Smolensk region. By estimates of respondents retail sale develops in the conditions of increasing competition in the region. The markets of medical and transport services, housing and public utilities and communication have the status of moderate competition, but services in social service of the population in the spheres of culture, preschool education, children's rest and supplementary education for children fall behind.
Administration of the region undertakes concrete measures for improving the situation. At the same time it was noted successful implementation of projects on public-private partnership in the Smolensk region. Acting Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy has signed a number of Agreements thanks to which new offices of doctors to the general practice have opened, and multifaceted medical centers are created on the basis of several policlinics of the regional center. By the decision of Alexey Ostrovskiy the housing and utilities sector is guided by development of public-private partnership after health care.
