14.06.2016 Smolensk region has been included into top-15 «Most Attractive Regions of Russia for Investments»The online magazine BIGRUSSIA has interrogated representatives of foreign Chambers of Commerce and Industry, associations of foreign entrepreneurs, and consulting agencies which run business in Russia.
Respondents should call regions, interest in which from businessmen from their country is the greatest. Representatives from Italy, Germany, Canada and India have taken part in research.
Here you can see top-15 the regions of Russia which are attractive to business from the point of view of foreigners: Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Republic of Tatarstan, Kaluga region, Ulyanovsk region, North Caucasus, Chelyabinsk region, Samara region, Tver region, Krasnodar Krai, Smolensk region, Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansi autonomous district, Rostov region and Primorsky Krai.
«Moscow and St. Petersburg will be always interesting to foreign business because these two regions are the centers of political and economic life of the country therefore the majority of the foreign companies have exactly presence here. But great opportunities also open in other regions, and first of all – where good conditions for investors are created. The regional authorities actively work on involvement of new investors and are always ready for cooperation», – the chairman of the board of the Russian-German chamber of commerce Matthias Schepp has noted. |
