28.06.2016 Smolensk region begins cooperation with Fruits and Vegetables Union

Corporation of Investment Development of Smolensk Region has signed the agreement on cooperation and interaction with National Union of Fruits and Vegetables Producers.

The agreement provides cooperation in the sphere of projects implementation, directed to increase of investment, research and production, innovative potential of Smolensk region in vegetable growing industries.

CEO of Corporation of Investment Development of Smolensk Region Andrey Kulichkov and Executive Director of Fruits and Vegetable Union Mikhail Glushkov have signed the agreement.

- Having signed this agreement, we expect additional support of vegetable industry in Smolensk region, and also cooperation in attraction of new investment projects to the region, - Andrey Kulichkov has emphasized.

National Union of Fruits and Vegetables Producers which was created in 2014 unites the enterprises of Russia which are engaged in cultivation and processing of vegetable, berry and mushroom products.

Mission of the union is to create economic and technological conditions for the accelerated development of native vegetable growing, both open and protected agriculture, and also production of mushrooms and berries.
