11.07.2016 The enterprise of package production for agricultural producers will be launched in Smolensk region

Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy has held a working meeting on questions of implementation of the investment project «Creation of Manufacturing Enterprise on Release of Packing Production from Polymeric Materials for Storage and Transportation of Vegetables» with LLC Agro-industrial Center of New Technologies.

During the meeting the Agreement between Administration of the region and the investor has been signed.

The project provides a creation of the first production line of package release for agricultural producers - net bags on a roll. Nowadays the main supplier of a net bag on a roll is China. It is expected that the construction will begin in March, 2017.

- I am very glad that you have registered the enterprise in Monastyrshchinskiy district, and this project will be implemented exactly in this district. During the project implementation you plan to create 50 workplaces, it is very significant for the district. Nowadays breakthrough solutions in questions of attracting investments and new business projects are necessary for us to change people’s life, - Alexey Ostrovskiy has emphasized. 

According to the project manager of LLC Agro-industrial Center of New Technologies Oksana Mironova, the decision on work in Smolensk region has been based on interest of municipal authority and comfortable conditions of business. The representatives of the company considered three regions - Kaluga, Tula and Smolensk, analyzed the privileges and subsidies provided to investors. The heads of Monastyrshchinskiy district have quickly reacted to the appeal of the company, having promised that it will be rendered full assistance in the solution of communications supply and all administrative matters.

According to the investors, stable demand from subjects of the Central Russia for packing materials for storage and transportation of vegetables, and also an advantageous geographical position from the point of view of logistics – proximity of Republic of Belarus, Moscow and agroregions have become one more argument in favor of the region. The list of the potential suppliers who are near the planned production is already defined.

The company Agro-industrial Center of New Technologies have been working more than 10 years at the domestic market of packing materials, specializing in delivery of expendable materials under the equipment for pre-sale preparation and packing of vegetables.
