14.07.2016 President of AIH MIRATORG: Smolensk region is one of the best regions of development and attracting investors

During a working trip to Roslavlskiy district Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy has got acquainted with the course of implementation of the investment project of agro-industrial complex MIRATORG on the example of work of a cattle farm «Andreevka» which has become the first of eight planned to construction in the territory of Smolensk region.

From the last year the leading operator of the Russian market of meat - the company Miratorg realizes the largest investment project on creation of a complex on development of production of a highly productive meat number of cattle in Smolensk region. Until the end of 2017 it will be constructed eight livestock farms and a logistic center in different districts of the region. The total amount of investments on the project will make about 8 billion rubles. The expected social effect is creation of 400 workplaces.

Roslavlskiy district became the first platform on implementation of this project. The farm on the maintenance of cattle «Andreevka» is located in the village Andreevka of Roslavlskiy district. Investments into building of the object have made 150 million rubles. Power of the farm is calculated on the content of 5 thousand heads of beef strains. At the moment the livestock makes nearly 3,6 thousand individuals. It is created 30 workplaces in the farm.

Intensive implementation of so significant project would be impossible without constructive interaction between the regional authorities and the investor. Within orders of Acting Governor Department for investment development together with Corporation for investment development has given necessary help to the company, the issue with choosing of the land plots for future farms has been resolved fast-track.

On the course of implementation of the investment project the head of the region was informed by the president of agro-industrial holding Miratorg Victor Linnik. The head of the company has thanked the Governor for collaboration, having confirmed further intentions on implementation of the project and construction of livestock complexes in the territory of Smolensk region.

- For us the main thing is a result. I can tell that Smolensk region is one of the best regions in support of works activity management of the investor. I can confirm once again that those plans which we discussed a year ago are carried out, and this cooperation can be held up as an example.
