15.07.2016 Regional authorities give help to the enterprises of Smolensk region

During a working meeting of members of Administration of Smolensk region Acting Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy has informed on concrete results of help of the regional authorities to the enterprises of Smolensk region.

«Administration tries to render the maximum assistance to the industrial enterprises in the territory of the region. Lately it was succeeded to help a number of the enterprises experiencing considerable difficulties which could lead to the termination of their business, – the head of the region has noted. – In particular, the company Arcade Profile in Yartsevo which was on the verge of closing. Thanks to participation of Administration of the region, Department for investment development serious steps have been taken for correction of the situation. The decision of the owners of the company Grand Line to buy the enterprise in Yartsevo has become a result of the carried-out work which will gain further development - 170 operating workplaces are kept and also 100 workplaces will be created soon. It is our joint success».

The company Grand Line (Obninsk, Kaluga region) is one of the largest producers of building materials for cottage and low-rise construction working at the market more than 10 years. In the central part of Russia it has constructed 7 plants, more than 50 company sales offices and more than 7500 sales offices of dealers are opened. New owners of the enterprise have confirmed intention to keep social guarantees for workers.
