19.07.2016 It is planned the construction of one more industrial park in the region

Department for investment development of Smolensk region will send an application for participation in the competitive selection made by Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on granting a subsidy to budgets of territorial entities of the Russian Federation for construction of engineering infrastructure of the third state industrial park in the territory of Smolensk region.

The competitive selection will take place in 2017. At the moment it is carried out a collection of information from municipalities of the region about investment sites with favorable conditions for creation of the state industrial park.

After an assessment of social and economic effect, transport accessibility and also engineering specifications for connection of residents, it will be selected an investment site for creation of infrastructure of the park.

The third industrial park will promote inflow of investments, growth of scientific and technical potential, increasing of workplaces of high qualification, improvement of quality of life of the population and development of priority branches of economy.

We will remind that nowadays two state industrial parks Phoenix and Safonovo are in a stage of construction in the territory of the region. In 2015-2016 Smolensk region won the competitive selection made by Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on granting a subsidy to budgets of territorial entities of the Russian Federation for construction of engineering infrastructure of parks. It should be noted that interest of potential investors to industrial parks is rather high.
