05.09.2016 The company Rostec plans to increase a share of production of civil products at the enterprises in the region

The Director of the Department of investment development of Smolensk region Rostislav Rovbel has held a working meeting with the Head of representative office of the state corporation Rostec in Smolensk region Nikolay Tsarev.

The parties have discussed questions of increase in a share of hi-tech civil products in the total production of the enterprises of defense industry complex entering into Rostec. It is about a release of agricultural and medical equipment, and also chemical production.

The Department of investment development represented by Rostislav Rovbel has expressed readiness to render assistance in realization of initiatives of the state corporation Rostec in the territory of Smolensk region.

The state corporation Rostec is the Russian industrial corporation including about 700 organizations from which 9 holding companies in defense industry complex and 5 holding companies in civil industries of the industry are created. The organizations of Rostec are located in the territory of 60 territorial entities of the Russian Federation and deliver production on the markets more than 70 countries.

Five enterprises of the state corporation Rostec with total number of employees is more than 3500 are registered in the territory of Smolensk region. Annually they release production more than for four and a half billion rubles.
