The international forum «Small business. Prospects of growth and development of communications of Russia and Hungary» has taken place in Smolensk on the platform of Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The representatives of business community of the city Gerjen from the Hungarian side who were in Smolensk region on business participated in the forum. The delegation was headed by the mayor of the city Karoy Romkhani.
During the forum the colleagues from Hungary were told about the investment potential of Smolensk region, and the representatives of the enterprises of the region acted with the presentations about their business. In turn the foreign party has presented a number of projects to Russians which are implemented in the territory of Hungary. Also Hungarian agro-industrial concern Paksi Dunamenti Zrt., which is engaged in cultivation of crops and cultivation of cattle, has become interested in implementation of the project in the territory of Smolensk region.
The Department of investment development of Smolensk region has suggested to one more Hungarian company, the social fund «Soccer in Kindergarten», to consider the possibility of opening of production in Smolensk region, and further to enter the Russian market. This company presented a multipurpose athletic field of KA2AL KINDERPITCH which is developed for children of preschool age and is suitable for different types of sport: soccer, handball, basketball, badminton, tennis, and also for performance of various exercises on development of coordination of movements. The platform consists of elements which can be easily sorted and transferred at the minimum expenses to other place.
Next day events of the forum have taken place in Desnogorsk.
It should be noted that a year ago the memorandum of cooperation has been signed between municipalities Gerjen / Hungary and Desnogorsk / the Russian Federation which provides exchange of experience in the sphere of the industry, small and medium sized enterprises, culture, education and patriotic education of citizens.
Then Desnogorsk and Gerjen have acquired the status of twin-towns. In addition, the parties have expressed desire to share the experience in the sphere of interaction of local government board with the nuclear power plants located in their territory, paying attention to transfer of experience, saved up in construction of the NPS.
Within the coordinated action plan the visits of the Hungarian delegations are planned to Smolensk region for 2016.
