21.12.2016 The investment forum has taken place in Smolensk

The Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy has taken part in work of the forum «Development of investment and business climate in Smolensk region: analysis of situation, search of opportunities and growth points».

The main objective of the forum is to analyse the most topical problematic issues facing the region regarding development of investment and business climate and together with federal and regional experts and business to develop effective approaches for successful development in the future.

Among the participants of the event are heads of federal public organizations in the sphere of development of business and entrepreneurship, public authorities, businessmen and representatives of business community of the region.

Speakers of the conference have become experts of federal level: the president of the All-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized enterprises «SUPPORT of RUSSIA» Alexander Kalinin, the vice-president, the head of executive committee of the All-Russian public organization «Business Russia» Elena Bocherova, the chief of the department on projects of development of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Agency of strategic initiatives of promotion of new projects Ivan Avrakh.

The Governor has told that in December it is planned to open the regional Center of business support. It is designed to carry out information and analytical and organizational interaction of enterprise community with all levels of the authorities. And in 2017 in the region there will be a Center of support of export of Smolensk region to give effective help to export-oriented subjects of small and medium-sized enterprises.

In the dialogue mode Alexey Ostrovskiy has answered questions of participants of the forum. The Governor has emphasized that the Administration of the region is extremely interested in feedback with enterprise community and waits from participants of the forum of concrete recommendations and offers.

Among the subjects touched during Alexey Ostrovskiy's dialogue with the audience was development of export-oriented productions.

During the discussion the participants have mentioned some other problematic issues. All recommendations and painful points are considered, the result will become more careful development of the key directions in development of the region.
