10.03.2017 A working meeting with the head of representative office of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the Central Federal District

The Governor Alexey Ostrovsky held a working meeting with the head of representative office of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the Central Federal District Dmitry Abramov. During the conversation the participants discussed the prospects of a bilateral cooperation.

During the dialogue the Head of the region paid special attention on need of more effective development of interdepartmental interaction between territorial authorities of federal executive authorities, regional authorities and municipalities. 

The Governor noted that there are accurate and clear criteria determined by a management of the Russian President Administration, concerning assessment of investment appeal of subjects regarding work of the relevant territorial authorities of federal authorities.

In turn, Dmitry Abramov recommended to pay attention to control and supervising activities from the point of view of decrease in quantity and types of checks. Besides the head of representation of ASI in the CFD told that the competition of the best social and economic practices will be announced in May and suggested to provide the best regional practices for the purpose of their further replication throughout the country.

Alexey Ostrovsky thanked Dmitry Abramov for an appreciation of joint work. Also the Governor noted that a few days ago the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the decision of the Government on creation of four priority development areas in the country among which there is the city of Dorogobuzh. The Governor especially noted that the region became the first and unique in Central Federal District to which the country leaders entrusted creation of the priority development areas in spite of the fact that there are dozens of monotowns in the Central Federal District. 

In conclusion of the conversation the participants agreed that effective interaction of Administration of Smolensk region and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives will be continued.
