03.02.2014 Talks were held in Moscow with Chinese investors

On February 3, 2014, in Moscow, R.L. Rovbel, the Deputy Chief of the Department on Economic Development of Smolensk Region, held talks with representatives of “Cimic Enric Holdings Limited” (PRC) on implementation of investment projects in the territory of Smolensk Region:

- "Supply of container handling equipment for gas compression"

Use of liquefied natural gas as an energy resource for public and large-tonnage motor vehicles will significantly reduce the cost of fuel and maintenance of vehicle fleet of companies as well as the environmental burden on exhausts to the atmosphere;

- " Building of a plant to liquefy natural gas (methane) having an output of 2 t/hr, at the least"

Implementation of this project will make it possible to gasify several districts of Smolensk Region and change operation of 50 boilers from coal and fuel oil to liquefied natural gas, which will also produce an impact on the cost and environment.

In March 2014, representatives of “Cimic Enric Holdings Limited” are planning to visit Smolensk Region for a more detailed discussion on implementation of these projects.
